The story deals with some typical fantasy themes: love, loyalty, bravery, evil, and good. Kel Kade - Kings Dark Tidings 01 - Free the Darkness (Revised) (epub).epub - Free ebook download as ePub (.epub), Text File (.txt) or read book online. Events in the book start out slow and steady and only slightly ups their pace in the final fourth or so of the book. Combined with an increasingly complex magic system, it makes for a thoroughly enjoyable read. A mark of truly good characters is when readers begin to feel actual emotions for these characters regarding their fate, and this book displays that. There’s a lot of character development in this book. I have actually been awaiting this newest launch in the Kings Dark Tidings collection and Kel Kade did not disappoint. The main character is almost perfect, but it’s all balanced out by the numerous flaws in the other characters. (PDF/READ) Dragons and Demons By Kel Kade (PDF/READ) Dragons and Demons (Kings Dark Tidings Book 5) By Kel Kade Every kingdom Rezkin touches has shattered. The story is somewhat typical, but it’s set out in a very unusual way that makes it very hard to predict. Kel Kade has managed to create a very cool kind of fantasy here, a kind of fantasy that is just as thematically oriented as the Sword of Truth series but still possesses many of the elements of modern, swashbuckling fantasy. ![]()

At the ‘MaddAddamites’ cobb house she is able, among other things, to tend to Snowman, unconscious with a fever from the infection in his injured foot. She has benefited from her time as one of the ‘Eves’ in the God’s Gardeners eco-group, and has managed to get Snowman and Amanda to safety. Meanwhile in the present, we have Toby in as big a role as she had in The Year of the Flood, the second novel. I understood her plight and I could see where the author was going but her backbone and strength didn’t really shine in this book. But angst lovers will love that, but more than a handful of times it became repetitive making it extremely hard to connect with her. ![]() This one kind of went off kilter and added extra drama which didn’t need to be added, it took the focus off the back bones of the story, being Mr XĪnd Shi, our victim, survivor came across weak in this book, always not dealing with a situation firsthand and walking away, it just screamed immaturity, it gave me whiplash. Those times when we’re thrown into our heroine’s traumatic past is where my dark little soul rejoiced. What I love about this is the dark stalker/killer aspect of the storyline. So going into this my expectations were high! It kick starts us off right where we all fell victim to that cliffy the author threw us over, but that’s not the last of it, because prepare yourselves to fall down another one. ![]() I loved the 1st book which easily got my 5 stars. ![]() |
